Last fall, the United States Mint announced that Girl Scouts’ trailblazing founder, Juliette Gordon Low, would be featured on one of the final five coins in its American Women Quarters™ Program. The coin portrays Juliette as she fulfilled her life’s purpose in founding Girl Scouts, the incredible organization through which girls bring their dreams to life and work together to build a better world. The design captures Juliette’s spirit and strength and features symbols that honor the history of the Girl Scout Movement, including the iconic trefoil. The coin will be released into circulation in March 2025.

This special patch features the design on the JGL quarter dollar. Iron-on embroidered patch. 2 ½ x 2 ½”. All Fun Patches are unofficial and are not to be worn on the front of the Girl Scout sash, vest or tunic. All fun patch designs are exclusively owned by Girl Scouts of the USA.

What is the American Women Quarters™ Program?
According to the United States Mint: “The American Women Quarters™ Program is a four-year program that celebrates the accomplishments and contributions made by women of the United States. Beginning in 2022, and continuing through 2025, the U.S. Mint will issue up to five new reverse designs each year.” These quarters pay tribute to women from diverse backgrounds who have made their mark on suffrage, civil rights, abolition, government, humanities, science, space, the arts, and more. It's a powerful recognition of the incredible impact women have had on our nation's history.
