Brownie Think Like an Engineer Journey Award

As of October 1, 2026, Journeys are officially retired. Girl Scouts may still earn Journey awards, but they are no longer being produced and will no longer fulfill the prerequisite requirements for the Highest Awards. We have extremely limited quantities of Journey books and awards available while supplies last.

In this Journey, you will:

1. Find out how engineers use design thinking to solve problems.

2. Do 3 design thinking activities: design and build an assistive device, a water collection device, and a device that can launch a ball across a room.
